Thanks to all who came out to Meet the Presses to support White Wall Review! The event was extraordinarily well-attended, and we had a great time chatting with independent publishers and delightful readers. We would like to extend our congratulations to Nelson Ball, author of Small Waterways (Apt. 9 Press) and winner of the bpNichol Chapbook Award!
We would also like to give a special mention to The Feathertale Review Issue #15, which is a great and comedic read. And we’re very excited about Erin Wunker’s Notes from a Feminist Killjoy from BookThug, and a trio from Brick Books: Orient by Gillian Wingmore, Omens in the Year of the Ox by Stephen Price, and Love Outlandish by Barry Dempster.
What we love most about being a part of this vibrant literary community is coming to these events and speaking to our readers about what they enjoy about WWR and independent CanLit. And we hope all of you enjoyed the sneak-peak at our hot-off-the-presses Issue 40, which we’ll be launching in January 2017!
